Simple Financial Journey is a 3-day, 6-hour workshop designed to help you answer three foundational questions about your finances: Where am I? Where do I want to be? and How do I get there?
Workshops are held for two hours per day for three days. The schedule is as follows:
Day 1, Where Am I?
The first day begins with a discussion about assets, liabilities, money values & biases, and insurance and ends with attendees completing their own personal balance sheet.
Day 2, Where Do I Want To Be?
Day 2 covers income & expenses and setting personal financial goals.
Day 3, How Do I Get There?
The final day ends with a discussion on investing basics and the opportunity to create a spending plan or a budget.
When are workshops held and how do I attend one?
Workshops are held throughout the year and can be hosted and sponsored by individuals, non-profits, church groups, and even employers. Anyone age 18 and older can attend a workshop, but you do need to register. Class sizes are limited to 20 people and must have a minimum of 10 people registered.
